Michele Allison is a communications consultant with 18 years of communications and marketing experience. Most recently she was a Managing Director and Head of Communications for Deutsche Bank in the Americas, overseeing media relations, internal communications, brand communications and social media, and conferences and events. While at Deutsche Bank, Michele was Vice Chair of the Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation and a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Council in North America. Michele and her team at Deutsche Bank supported NAMI-NYC through various initiatives, including the national #IWillListen anti-stigma campaign and NAMIWalks NYC.
Michele is acutely aware of the challenges surrounding mental illness and the stigma that exists. Members of her family have struggled with Depression and Bipolar Disorder. Michele has served on the NAMI-NYC board since 2015 and has worked on initiatives supporting Workplace Mental Health, including the organization’s very successful CEO Summits on Workplace Mental Health in 2015 and 2016.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in 2004, she held various communications and marketing roles at Bear Sterns. Michele has also supported a number of notable New York City charitable organizations, including Sanctuary for Families, Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation, Free Arts and Broadway Housing Communities’ Sugar Hill Children’s Museum in Harlem. She currently sits on the board of the Y.M.C.A. in Rye, NY.
