My first marathon was the Philadelphia Marathon in 2018. This will be my second marathon, and first NYC Marathon. I have been a staff member at NAMI-NYC for about a year now. As the Support Groups Coordinator, I’ve had the chance to see first hand how our free programs change lives. I’ve also learned that I’m not alone in finding running to be incredibly important to my mental health. With this connection, I decided that running the NYC Marathon for NAMI-NYC would be a perfect fit. I’m very excited to meet the other runners and to represent NAMI-NYC in my training and on race day!
