Matt Kudish Joins NAMI-NYC Metro as New Executive Director

Brings Nearly 20 Years of Experience as Advocate, Educator, and Speaker

Matt Kudish Joins NAMI-NYC Metro as New Executive DirectorNEW YORK – August 21, 2017 – The National Alliance on Mental Illness of New York City (NAMI-NYC Metro) today announced that Matt Kudish, MPA, LMSW has become Executive Director. Matt is a respected speaker and educator, and has worked with some of New York City’s most vulnerable populations. At NAMI-NYC Metro, he will focus on expanding their reach to serve more New Yorkers living with mental illness and their families, through innovative programming and partnerships with community-focused organizations.

His tremendous leadership will help NAMI-NYC Metro continue to serve New Yorkers affected by mental illness with the highest quality services, information, and resources available.”

Matt most recently served as Senior Vice President of Caregiver Services at CaringKind – The Heart of Alzheimer’s Caregiving. He received his Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University and his Master’s in Public Administration from New York University. He was selected as a Fellow in the inaugural Strell Fellowship in Executive Leadership at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, and holds Post Master’s Certificates in Non-Profit Executive Leadership and Clinical Supervision from New York University’s School of Social Work.
