Our classes help families and individuals impacted by mental illness build better lives.  All of our programs are led by trained volunteers who have “been there,” where you are.  And they’re all free of charge.

NAMI Family & Friends, our 90-minute online workshop for people who have a loved one with a mental health condition.

Third Friday monthly
6pm to 7:30pm
Via Zoom Teleconferencing

Family-to-Family, our 8-week class for families, partners, and friends of adults with mental illness.

Two open classes at this time. Call our Helpline at 212-684-3264 to be added to a wait list.

  • April 13 – June 1, Tuesdays 6:30-9pm.
  • April 26 – June 21, Mondays 6-8:30pm.

NAMI Basics, our 6-week class for parents and other family caregivers, of children and teens who are showing signs of emotional and/or behavioral difficulties, or who have a mental health diagnosis.

Peer-to-Peer, our 8-week class for anyone experiencing a mental health challenge. We also have a course for – and taught by – people who identify as LGBT+.

New LGBT+ class starting in May. Call our Helpline at 212-684-3264 to be added to a wait list.

Homefront, our 6-week class for families, partners and friends of military service members and veterans experiencing a mental health challenge.
